ABOUT ADIRONDACK COAST SPORTS

Our mission is to leverage our expertise to offer accessible, distinctive, and valuable sports opportunities for both children and adults in the Adirondack Coast Region of Northern New York.

Who Are We, Anyway?

Adirondack Coast Sports operates as a DBA of Elevate518, LLC.

Established in 2019, Elevate518, LLC initially functioned as a project development company, aimed at enhancing the capabilities of municipalities, non-profits, and for-profits throughout the Adirondack Coast. We have successfully secured over $1,200,000 in grants for diverse municipalities and organizations. Following a shift prompted by the pandemic, our focus has narrowed to exclusively developing youth and adult sports programs, with the vision of establishing a regional independent indoor facility in the Plattsburgh area.

With over 25 years of experience in sport management, education, non-profits, for-profits, and municipal services, I take pride in my extensive background. I have had the privilege to collaborate on numerous local sporting events, races, live broadcasts, World Cups, Olympic Trials, and Olympic Games. I also pioneered the Skeleton Sled Technology Program for the United States Bobsled and Skeleton Federation, which contributed to Olympic medals in 2014. As the former Superintendent of Recreation for the City of Plattsburgh for a decade, I possess a unique insight into the youth and adult sports landscape of the Adirondack Coast. I am dedicated to nurturing and enhancing this vital program, as sports provide our youth and adults with essential skills in teamwork, commitment, sportsmanship, hard work, and healthy living. But there’s more! In 2014, Adirondack Coast Events LLC was founded as a race timing company, enabling charities to concentrate on their missions while boosting services to the running community and improving quality of life in the region. Adirondack Coast Events is Race Day Certified and has timed over 600 events, successfully raising more than $1,300,000 for local, regional, and national charities since its inception.
