MLSGO House League

The MLS GO House League is designed for individual players who want to play soccer without needing to already be part of an organized team. Simply register your player in the appropriate age division, and Adirondack Coast Sports will place players onto House teams and organize league play.

Our goal is to provide a fun, competitive and developmentally appropriate soccer experience for players of all experience levels. House teams are coed and give kids the opportunity to play, develop their skills, meet new teammates and enjoy the game in a positive environment.

House teams receive up to four practices per session, generally scheduled every other Monday.

Our goal is to schedule approximately one game per week, but the schedule may not be perfectly even from week to week. Depending on the number of teams in a division, facility availability and other scheduling considerations, a team may occasionally have a week without a game or a scheduled bye week. In some cases, games may also be distributed differently throughout the session to create the best overall schedule.

These days are our normal scheduling plan, but weather, facility availability, enrollment and other scheduling needs may occasionally require games or practices to be moved.

Who Should Register for House League?

House League is a good fit for players who are registering individually rather than as part of an established team. It welcomes newer players learning the game as well as experienced recreational players who simply want another opportunity to play.

Players do not need to belong to a school, travel or club team to participate. Adirondack Coast Sports forms the teams—you simply register your player.

How House League Competition Works

House teams primarily compete against other House teams. Depending on the number of teams and the needs of each division, they may also play a few Rec/Open teams.

Creating appropriate competition levels is important to a positive player experience, so we work to create matchups that are as balanced and competitive as possible, but it is important to recognize that this can never be guaranteed.

Our Philosophy

Competition is part of sports, but the player experience comes first. We want players to have fun, stay active, improve their skills, develop friendships and learn teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability and respect.

We like to say that our goal is to run youth sports professionally—not create professional youth sports.

A Few Things to Know

Schedules are designed to be as consistent as possible, but weather, facility availability, enrollment, odd numbers of teams and other circumstances can occasionally require changes.

All players must be officially registered and rostered before participating. Families should also review the league rules, equipment requirements, Code of Conduct, weather policy and refund policy before the season begins.
